Dollop is one of 14 puppies rescued from a farm in
Missouri where several adults were allowed to breed again and again. They
were not given much human attention and little Dollop is very shy. She has
been living in the field with many animals of all types and is gentle and
sweet with all. She wags her tail and comes right up to me now, but still
too frightened to be petted. She will need a patient, understanding home
to continue to learn to trust people and appreciate attention. She is in
no way aggressive, just scared and passive if held. Dollop is a Great
Pyrenees/Black Lab mix and is nearing 5 months of age. She would do well
on a farm watching over animals, but not as a guard for human intruders.
She might enjoy living in a house also, but that would take some work for
her to relax indoors. She should mature to about 70-75 lbs.
